A pop-up store, a university and an architectural collective have joined forces
to create a place for creativity and innovation in the city center of Freiburg.
The 'Public Pool' provides space for local artists to showcase their work to the public, be it through exhibitions, performances, or readings - everything and everyone is welcome. Design students can meet and collaborate with established artists or use the co-working spaces to study and develop new projects.
The 'Public Pool' thrives on its visitors. Therefore, my mission was clear:
The signage had to be unmistakable, modern, and inviting.
Design is an opportunity
to provide people
with an individual voice
to communicate their
stories, ideas and ventures.

In 2023, the observatory in Uecht will be transformed into the 'Space Eye', a center dedicated to exploring and learning about our universe.
Inside, a staircase will be leading the visitors from the telescope platform down to the exhibition area. In this staircase a series of posters shall visualize the different phases of the 'Big Bang'. Quite a challenging task, seeing that it does not only require the understanding
of these complex physical processes but also the ability to simplify and abstract them.
In this book, the author Scott MacDonald narrates the history of avant-garde cinema, from Yoko Ono to Su Friedrich.
The design references the experimental
use of analog film.

For me personally, a conceptual approach is of great importance. I aim to visualize stories whilst considering aesthetical and contemporary perspectives.
Design work for the field of aesthetic medicine must radiate professionalism
and trust. The client desired delicate colors and soft shapes without losing modernity.

Every year, the design agency Velvet Creative Office GmbH commits itself to a good cause. In spring 2023, they supported a family of farmers by removing stones from
their pastures to prepare them for their animals. This initiative was visualized with a stone from Riemenstalden (where
the farm lies) and printed on slightly translucent paper
in a silvery Pantone color.

The artwork 'Designing Empathy' explored the communication medium sceno-graphy and its potential to make the experience of homelessness perceptible
for those not affected. It examined whether and to what extent design can trigger empathy to address socially relevant issues. The research results were then visualized in a scenographic installation on the topic of 'Social Exclusion through Homelessness,' aiming to promote awareness and empathy towards the affected, stimulate dialogue, and contribute to positive change.

These illustrations are part of a booklet series that encourages people to be more mindful of themselves and others. Often, behaviors which indicate serious mental health struggles (such as anxiety, grief, etc.) are subtle and easily overlooked, especially during adolescence. To live in a healthy society, we must create awareness for these emotions and their various expressions.

The D-Care Lab is a young startup based
in Freiburg that focuses on developing innovative solutions in caregiving. The knitted scarf symbolizes the problem-solving strategy of the
D-Care Lab. The numerous issues in caregiving are like tangled threads; they need to be unraveled and transformed into a new, organized form. It's about not always perceiving problems
as problems but rather seeing them as challenges. Challenges that, collectively, with creativity, joy, and collaboration, can be solved.

The fictional association Fritz e. V. initiates creative, musical, technical, and inclusive projects for students and elderly. The focus lies on enjoyment, mutual learning, harmonious gatherings, and the formation of new friendships. For this purpose,
a square grid with 100 circles was designed. Each circle represents a year of life.
The number 100 is derived from the average human life expectancy. The design aims to appeal to two contrasting target groups and therefore needs to be modern, youthful, yet straightforward and easy
to understand.

The project 'A Stadt', inspired by the works '1984' by George Orwell and 'Amerika' by Franz Kafka, visualizes a pessimistic version
of our present. The magazine tells the story of an unusual encounter in the shadow of an intangible system of control and coercion.

In Iceland, it's common to express gratitude for a beautiful shared experience
with the phrase 'Takk fyrir síðast!'. This translates to 'Thank you for last time.'
This wall graphic was designed for the campaign 'Memories of the Future' and visualizes personal memories from Iceland. It invites the passenger to reflect
on their travelling and thank nature for all the moments it gifts us daily
